A minimalist monolith in the up-and-coming, artistic, and celeb-filled desert city of Joshua Tree, California is on sale for $ 1.75 million.
Stars have flocked to the desert region in droves in recent years, thanks in part to Joshua Tree National Park, which has become a coveted climbing spot for actors Jared Leto and Jason Momoa. The area’s visibility was also increased in 2014 when Beyoncé and Jay-Z shot promotional videos for their tour “On the Run” and in 2016 when U2 re-released “The Joshua Tree” in 1987.
Located on massive 5 acres of land surrounded by boulders, the listing states that it “feels like more than 100 acres as it rests on protected boulder-laden land”.
Considered “very unique” and the perfect getaway, the home was rebuilt after Kud Development scooped the land for just $ 87,000 last year, property records show.
But it is not known how much they spent on its construction.
